Monday, March the 7.
Monday we
went to school with each of our Italian partners at 8 o´clock. We participated in their lessons, which was a
very different experience compared to the Danish school. The classes seemed old
fashioned, because they don’t use technology as much as we do. Afterwards
we went on a treasure hunt around Padua in mixed groups, and saw the most
famous sights in the city. The city has many qualities for instance the flower
markets, shops and ancient roman architecture that creates a unique atmosphere.
We had a guided tour at the Galileo´s anatomical theatre. The theatre showed
how people used to study the anatomy. A corps was displayed in the middle and the
students were standing on different levels around the corps. They had to study
the anatomy in secret, and often had to steal bodies at the cemetery. In the evening
we had dinner at the school. Our host families brought Italian specialties, and
we ended the day in a good mood looking forward to the next day.
